Now it’s time to share the food and fun of Food Blog Forum Orlando 2013. As I mentioned in Part 1, there was too much to put in one post. Sit back and take a trip with me through photos of this amazing weekend. The glowing fruit bowls above were the highlight of the breakfast on Saturday morning (the ice had melted some as it was later when I got out to take photos). Isn’t this just the coolest display?
All these luscious desserts are from the bakery in the France pavilion at Epcot. I actually resisted the urge to eat any of these sweets…really I did! Don’t they just make you drool?
The top three photos are from the reception on Friday night (I was so excited to see everyone that I didn’t get any people shots). The rest of these photos are from The Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant at Hollywood Studios. A group of us were invited to dinner and had a fun time chatting and eating. Those glowing drinks had a plastic ice cube inside that kept changing color (I just has to shoot a Vine video). My non-alcoholic Pina Colada was sooo good…I didn’t need dessert after that!
Julie (The Little Kitchen) took this playful Instagram shot of us from the stage. What a great group of people…I miss them already!
The top three photos are from breakfast on Saturday. The others are from the Disney Kid’s Cuisine lunch on Saturday.
Photos with my fabulous food blogging friends. Top row: Jenny (Picky Palate), Angie (Big Bear’s Wife), Laura (Pink Cake Plate). Bottom row: Jessa (Heed the Feed), Joanne (Fifteen Spatulas) and Veronica (OXO), Nathan (Steamy Kitchen’s sweet son).
Dessert reception on Saturday night at Hollywood Studios.
Sunday Brunch at Whole Foods. The food truck served some yummy gelato…wish I’d gotten a picture.
Check out these Disney Sweets & Treats. Top left is the Dole Whip that everyone was anxious to get…there were talks about it in our Facebook group even before the conference. The Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies Treats were huge (I left the maker’s hand in the shot so you could see the size). What about these candied strawberries (top right)… they’re mighty tasty. The remainder of the treats were all in the caramel store in the Germany pavilion at Epcot…everything in there makes your mouth water!
Our swag bag was stuffed to the top full of goodies! What a good time I had once I got home and went through everything. The cheese board set was provided by Florida Dairy Farmers…love it! Thanks to all the sponsors who sent things for our swag bag…we really appreciate it!
Even after creating a checklist of all the food bloggers attending this conference to make sure I didn’t miss anyone, there still wasn’t enough time…boo hoo! Oh well, there’s always on line visits until next year!
I hope you enjoyed reliving this awesome conference with me. There’s still a little more to share so stay tuned (yes, there’s more)!
Welcome to Simply Southern Baking. I’m Robin, the girl behind the recipes wishing I had more time to spend in the kitchen!
