A special gift for you.
I just finished making these gift tags with some of the lyrics from Silent Night and wanted to share them with you for Christmas. I’d had these on my mind to make for a week or two, but life gets so busy at this time of year. Know what I mean?
With our Christmas shopping almost done, I finally had a chance to sit down at the computer today and create these gift tags. I just love the way they turned out. They’ll be going on packages when I start wrapping.
I printed mine on parchment card stock….or rather thick scrapbook paper. I got 8 1/2 x 11 parchment card stock from Office Depot and then later found the parchment scrapbook paper at Michael’s in a slightly different color (they only had the 12 x 12 size; so I just cut it down to 8 1/2 to 11).
All you need to do is print on 8 1/2 x 11 card stock color of your choice, cut out around lines, punch hole in the top and use your color choice of string through the hole. That’s it! It’s easier to cut the gift tags in pieces and then cut out close to the lines on each tag. You can also use these tags without holes and just tape on packages.
I’m sharing these in blue and red also. I was going to print them out and photograph, but something is wrong with the color on my printer right now. Got to get that fixed as I have colored gift tags in mind.
I hope you enjoy using these special gift tags for Christmas this year….and for years to come.
Note: Run a test print on regular paper first. If the bottom lines on the last row don’t print, change the printing option to “fit to page.”
